Thoughts

So today kinda sucked. Not like it was really awful, just well one of those days when you question your job and the choices that placed you on that path. If you don't know I am in an apprenticeship with a power co-op working toward becoming a lineman. Now don't get me wrong I like my job. I love the money. It's just that some of the people I work with have a big "god complex" and I know what you are already thinking. We all have some one we work with that is a big pain in the ass. Well this is not about that person. He was just a factor in this day. This is about the question that we all ask our self at some point in life. "How did I get here?" If you told me when I graduated that I was going to work with High Voltage power lines and be climbing poles for a living I think I would have laughed in your face. I loved to sing, act, poetry. Hell, I even thought about becoming a florist or a massage therapist. No shit.
