Back in the town of my up-bringing they had a saying "When the pioneers came to settle Arizona, a group stopped in Joe Town due to a bad wind storm. The leader told the people 'When the wind lets up we will move on.' And we are still there today". It is no suprize to those of us from Nothern Arizona that I have had my fair share of experience with the wind; good or bad it always blows. When I was serving my mission in Sacremento California, I remember stopping in my first area just off the side of the road taking a second to watch the sunset and thinking of home. Just at that moment a breeze came up over the river and rushed across my face and through my hair. Just for one split second time stopped, I was apart of every thing that was around me. I could see all of the times I have been at the badlands standing on the tallest hill. The times I was at shevillon standing high on a cliff looking down into the cool water below. The times I was on top of the mesa over looking the badlands, the long stretch of land that reached to the twin peaks; and watching the sunset light up the sky with all of the colors that would bring respect from all living things. My thoughts go to all of the places that I feel God made to help us remember just what beauty he blessed our lives with. I respect the wind. I long for the day that I can stand in the places that have touched my heart, that bear witness to me that I am nothing and every thing all at once.CELEBRATE THE LITTLE THINGS!!!! Tonight I celebrate the winds of change that brought you, my friend, into my life.

tender and picturesque - who woulda known?
You have friends like the "guys" in "Sleepless in Seattle" Tom Hanks and his "brother-in-law" talking about guy movies while the woman was describing the Cary Grant chick flick.
Love the scene in NEAZ

You may be the only person I know of who appreciates the ever-constant JC wind. My mind is boggled. :)
